Quick Bio

Lucian SavlucI’m a Vancouver-based IT professional who worked in various senior positions across North America and Europe. For a living, I’m helping organizations that are dealing with complex problems to build simple and usable web solutions, get customers and create a bold presence. In time, I became a strong supporter of openness and free culture, a passion that put me in charge with the chairing of eLiberatica IT Conference and traveling to Europe in the summers.I was born in Romania and immigrated to Canada together with my family in 2003.In the hours I’m not managing projects, I enjoy spending time with my beautiful wife and kids. I like good movies, meeting people, traveling, outdoor activities and I pray for time to read books and listen music.Although I published all sort of thoughts, the purpose of this blog was to support eLiberatica. Since the last edition of the conference took place in 2009, I published less and less articles here. Still, if time permits, I’ll continue to write.
